China successfully launched Tiankun-1
On March 3, 2017, China launched one new technology test satellite which named Tiankun-1 successfully, with the launch vehicle named Kaituo-2. The successful launch of Tiankun-1 expands the spectrum of the small low orbit satellite platform in China. Tiankun-1 uses a modular design concept. Tiankun-1's core is the highly integrated spaceborne integrated electronic system,which formed a common small satellite platform.
Tiankun-1 is mainly used for the universal satellite platform technical verification test. The successful launch of Tiankun-1 can enhance the support in rapid launch andthe multi-functional integration, and can also enhance the emergency response to the rapid access to spatial information such as the ability to respond.
